Blending old with new, Mila Northrup is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter with a sound that blends a variety of genres with pop. She’s based in Los Angeles, California, and loves to add relatability and transparency to her lyrics. She had always been surrounded by music, specifically songs like “Have Love, Will Travel” by the Sonics, played to her by her mother before she was even born. Growing up with an Eastern European mom, she wanted to ensure that Mila was classically trained in piano and she fell in love with music performing. As an only child, she uses music as an escape from reality and finds music as something to lean on in times of hardships.
